Vescom 2000 is a universal wall covering adhesive for gluing textile and vinyl wall coverings weighing more than 370 g/m² and with a paper or textile backing to walls. Vescom 2000 prevents the wall covering from "bubbling" on the wall. Due to the high wet bonding strength of the adhesive, it is suitable for heavy wall coverings.  

Substrate  
Suitable for indoor use on plastered surfaces, wood and wood-like materials, drywall, concrete, etc., if they are clean, dry, solid and smooth.

  • Adhesive type: Paste-like starch and resin dispersion-based adhesive  

  • Brookfield viscosity: 23,000 mPa.s (HAT; spindle TD; 5 rpm; 20°C)  

  • Dry matter content: 27.5%  

  • pH : 27.5

  • Processing time: 15–45 minutes  

  • Drying time: 1–4 hours  

  • Glue consumption: 150–400 g/m²  

  • VOC EU limit value: This product has a limit value of 1 g/l VOC according to Directive 2004/42/EC.  

Processing time, drying time and adhesive consumption depend on the substrate, the type of wall covering, and the temperature and relative humidity of the materials and the environment.  

Application  
Vescom 2000 is ready to use. The adhesive can be applied to the substrate with a (sheep's wool) roller or brush.  

Cleaning  
Dried glue can be easily cleaned with water.

10-liter bucket  

Storage and shelf life  
The glue should be stored in a closed container at room temperature.  
The product has a shelf life of 9 months in sealed factory packaging.
