Parquet adhesive MS Elastic 400
Elastic one-component wood flooring adhesive
FEATURES:
Ready-to-use elastic adhesive based on MS polymer for universal use, odorless, without water. Contains no solvents or isocyanates. Resistant to water and temperature. Does not cause wood to swell after use and ensures a secure elastic adhesive bond. The adhesive meets the requirements of the European standard PN-EN 14294.
Places of use
MS Elastic is designed for gluing wood to various substrates, absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces. Concrete, OSB, plywood, clinker tiles (roughened), etc. Suitable for use mainly on all types of wood, for gluing exotic wood, laminated parquet and many different floorboards available. Suitable for underfloor heating.
Preparing the subfloor
Subfloors must be prepared in the same way as for gluing all wooden floors. The subfloor must be dry, stable, free from dust and dirt, oil, paint and filler. The subfloor must be strong so that the subfloor does not crack or break as a result of the expansion and contraction of the wood due to moisture. We recommend that the subfloor is pre-treated (if the subfloor is not in the best condition) with polyurethane primer RENOMEPRIMER PU112/RENOMEPRIMER PU 150/PU 200 OR PU 300, (in the case of very absorbent subfloors, to make the subfloor stronger).
Usage
Use the provided glue comb to glue each piece of wood parquet. Apply the glue to the subfloor and make sure that the entire subfloor is evenly and completely covered with glue. Press the wood parquet onto the glue, if necessary, add weights to the parquet to ensure that the parquet adheres properly to the subfloor. Do not apply too much glue to the subfloor at once, 2-3 rows of glue are enough. When the gluing is finished and there is glue left, place the foil cover on the remaining glue and press
Carefully spread the remaining glue evenly over the entire surface. This will prevent the glue from absorbing moisture and allow you to continue using the glue.
Important information
Floors must not be glued if the room temperature is below + 15 ° C and the humidity is above 65%. Use RENOVE SOLVENT 250 to clean tools. Even dried glue can be easily removed from tools. Parquet can be sanded and finished after 24 hours (except if the wood needs longer acclimatization to the surrounding environment). Glue that has been standing in a cold room must be brought into the work room earlier so that the glue warms up.
