Glimtrex oil-waxed floor maintenance instructions

Daily floor cleaning and maintenance - at home:

● To remove daily dust, use a vacuum cleaner and a bristled vacuum cleaner tip to avoid causing minor scratches on the oil-waxed surface.

● Larger dirt can be removed with a mixture of Glimtrex Floor Care and water. Glimtrex Floor Care is a PH-neutral water additive, does not contain solvents, contains natural wax surface refreshing additives. The product is preservative-free, has no unpleasant and strong odor.

● Suitable for use on most surfaces treated with oils and oil waxes.

● 25-50 ml of Floor Care is added to 5L of water, the resulting mixture is sufficient for daily wet cleaning and maintenance.

● To clean heavily soiled surfaces, increase the amount of Floor Care in the water.

● When cleaning wooden floors, use a damp mop, do not flood the floor with water.

Cleaning and daily maintenance of public areas:

● Daily wet cleaning: add 25-50ml Floor care to 5L of water, use a mop to clean.

● To clean heavily soiled surfaces, add 25-50ml of Glitmrex Refreshment Cleaner per 5L of water.

Then proceed as follows:

1. Mop the floor until it is damp, use a slow-speed polishing machine and a brown or red felt. After washing the floor, repeat the wash with clean water and a polishing cloth to remove any loose dirt from the floor.

2. Once the floor has dried (after about 2 hours), it is important to treat the floor with Glimtrex Wax Polish. Make sure that the surface is covered with a sufficient amount of protective wax. Minor scratches and marks can be easily removed using Glimtrex Wax Polish. Clean the floor or other finished surface from loose dirt, using a damp cloth if necessary. Apply a thin layer of the wax to the surface to be treated. The floor is ready for use after 4-8 hours.

Maintenance of floors with very heavy use:

● For even greater durability, in addition to wet cleaning, we recommend re-waxing the floor with Glimtrex Hardwax. Re-waxing can be done approximately 2-4 times a year, as needed. All floors require maintenance in different ways, and the maintenance of each floor depends on the load. Properly performed maintenance will ensure a beautiful floor for decades.

Safety
