Adhesion primer Renoprimer PU-200
Fast-drying polyurethane primer to strengthen the adhesion of parquet floors and provide a moisture barrier on damp concrete
- solvent-free
- easy to use
- removes moisture up to 4.5% CM on unheated, cement-free floors
- removes moisture up to 2.5% CM on heated cement-free floors
FEATURES:
RENOPRIMER PU-200, fast-drying one-component adhesion primer for absorbent and non-absorbent subfloors, for gluing parquet with Renove Elastik and PU adhesives. Does not contain solvents. Strengthens the adhesion of the subfloor and parquet. Applying two layers removes residual moisture (except floors without anhydrite joints) up to max. 4.5% CM.
APPLICATION:
PU-200 primer for absorbent and non-absorbent subfloors, e.g. concrete, cement and anhydrite jointless floors, stone tiles and wooden lining. Can be used on underfloor heating.
PRIMING:
Apply PU-200 evenly to a strong and stable, crack-free, clean and dry surface that meets the basic requirements of the generally accepted parquet/flooring rules. Avoid excessive surface preparation – so-called puddles. Floors without anhydrite joints must be cleaned of anhydrite milk. To remove it, sand or brush the joint-free floor surface and sometimes and if necessary, mill and then vacuum clean. To create a moisture barrier, apply PU-200 primer twice "second layer perpendicular to the first layer". In the case of a moisture barrier, apply the next layer after 1-2 hours. It is recommended to cover the last layer (still damp) with quartz sand. After hardening, remove any unbound sand residues. The self-leveling compound can be poured onto the sand-covered ground. The application of the adhesive can be started 2 hours after the completion of the priming.
NOTE: When installing prefabricated floor elements, it is recommended to allow the moisture barrier to cure (12 hours) and not to cover with sand. Do not apply a moisture barrier to heated and unheated anhydrite jointless floors with a residual moisture content of more than 0.8% CM. Ensure that the anhydrite jointless floor reaches a maximum residual moisture of 0.5% CM, DNS or moisture balance.
