The top of the parquet can be beveled (a small cut at the edges of the board). Beveled parquet hides cracks that may occur as a result of the wood aging.
The top layer of hardwood can also be brushed or aged to give the floor an older or more distinctive look.
Plank parquet is installed either floating (on an underlayment) or glued down. Glued down parquet is more stable and does not creak when walked on.
Most types of wood are suitable for installation on underfloor heating, except beech, maple, and bamboo.
When installing on underfloor heating, the manufacturer's instructions must be followed.
