IVC Silento 55 is well suited for renovation projects, educational institutions, offices and other spaces where acoustic properties (20 dB sound insulation) and easy maintenance are important. The material is semi-loose-laid, meaning that the material does not require gluing over the entire surface. It is usually attached only at the perimeter and joints using a special tape or adhesive. This allows for faster and easier installation compared to fully glued systems, while at the same time ensuring sufficient stability even on medium-sized surfaces, especially if the substrate is smooth and flat.
