Vinyl flooring (LVT)

Vinyl flooring, or LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile), looks like wood or stone but is 100% moisture-resistant. The LVT vinyl floors at Põrandakeskus come from the Dutch manufacturer Aspecta.

Which to choose: glue-down or click LVT?

• Glue-down LVT (2.0 / 2.5 / 3.2 / 5.0 mm) is glued to a level subfloor. Thin and durable. Suitable for both homes and commercial spaces. For commercial spaces with heavier loads and intensive traffic we recommend floors with a wear layer of at least 0.55 mm and use class 42 or higher.
• Click LVT (6.3 / 7.0 / 8 / 10 mm) is installed floating, and thanks to the integrated underlay no separate underlay is needed. Click-joint planks make installation quick and easy, and the result is a stable, durable floor. Click LVT works well in both homes and commercial spaces. The material is easy to maintain, stands up to everyday use and has a pleasant, natural look. R10 slip resistance helps reduce the risk of slipping in everyday use.
• Self-adhesive LVT is the simplest solution for smaller areas.

Where does it fit? Kitchen, hallway, living room and also the bathroom, but not directly under running water, because water can get under the tiles. LVT withstands wear, scratches, UV radiation and chemicals.

Suitable for water-based underfloor heating: the maximum permitted subfloor temperature is 30 °C according to the Aspecta RC30 / RC55 / IC55 installation guide.

LVT or SPC? Both are vinyl floors. SPC (Stone Plastic Composite) has a rigid stone composite core and tolerates an uneven subfloor better. See also SPC vinyl flooring.
